The crossflow engine was used all over the world in these categories and are still used today in historic racing. The 1600cc engines produced around 120BHP and the 2000cc engines around 150BHP.
Neil started his race engine building career on a 1600cc engine used in New Zealand’s Formula Ford series.
“I love these little engines, as these engines used in the New Zealand Formula Ford series were the catapult for myself and many other Kiwi’s to leave New Zealand and go to England to race.”
