Porsche 962C Resurrection

Racing has its risks and one of the most feared risks is fire. Both for the driver and the car. This engine is the result of a fire which totally engulfed the car. As the post fire photos show, not a lot was left of the original engine. Added to the fire damage was the water damage that occurred to many of the magnesium parts after the fire.

This was a challenge and as these engines are now rare and valuable, rebuilding it was required. These are the before and after photos of this rebuild.
